Property losses caused by fire in Japan amount to an enormous sum every year.
However, fires can be prevented by taking careful precautions. It isadvisable to have a fire extinguisher in your house.
As for fire insurance, consult the nearest insurance company for details.

• In case of fire
  1. Firstly, try to extinguish the fire by yourself. Example : If oil or grease catches fire, cover the fire with a towl. Do not try to extinguish it with water.
  2. If you cannot extinguish the fire, call "119" for the fire station. Speak slowly and clearly explaining where the fire is burning.

  3. If you cannot reach the phone, ask your neighbors for help.
