Typhoon

The typhoon seasons in Japan is from June to September. If a typhoon approches,
prepare as follows.
- Before the ty@hoon approachs, reinforce glass doors, and shut all sliding
rain doors.
Put away all loose objects that might be blown by the wind, sych as trash
cans, flower pots, or clothes drying frames.
Put your valuables in an emegency bag.
Prepare a radio, flash light and dandles in case there is a power failure.
Prespare a supply of drinking water and food in case your souce is damaged.
Have emergency medical supplies on hand in case a family member is injured.

Listen to weather forecasts on radio or T.V.
- If a typhoon approches, information if broadcasted on T.V. or on the radio
every hour.
Listen for new information constantly.
Understanding a T.V. typhoon Warning Zone.
- Bofu keikai iki(Typhoon Warning Zone)
- The circled area is the direction the typhoon is heading and its expected
time of arrival.
- Bofo iki(Typhoon Zone)
- This circle shows the area where the wind is blowing an average 25 meters
paer seccond.
- Yoho en(Forecast Circle)
- This is the broken circle inside the Typhoon Werning Zone. This area represents
the typhoon center and its expected time of arrival.
