The various types of ordinary mail are as follows.

- Nonregular size post articles
- Bigger than regular size
Less than 60cm long and total of length, width& thickness than 90cm.
- Mini-letter
- This is like an aerogram. There is a standard form that you can buy at
the post office.
- Post cards(2nd class)
- Ordinary postcards(Hagaki)
Retun postcards(Ofuku hagaki)
- For use when you desire a reply.
- Delivery
- Express mail
- When you wish to send mail urgently, you can send it as "Sokutatsu",express
mail.
- Registered mail
- When sending important documents or articles, you can send it as "Kakidome",
registered mail. In the event of loss or damage, you can claim for indemnity.(Registered
delivery of cach : Cash can be sent by this service.)
- Overseas mail(Post cards, letters and parcels)
- Air mail
- Fees differ according to which country your letter will go.
- Surface mail(same as above)
- You can send post cards, letters and percels to overseas by Express mail
and registered mail.
- Remittance service
- Registered letter for sending money
- Domestic service only.
- Postal money order
- Both domestic & international services are available.
